Pedigree Park Type North Country Cheviots
We welcomed our flock of North Country Cheviots in the Summer of 2021 and the flock has continued to grow and go from strength to strength.

The pedigree flock now stands at just over 110, including the introduction of 18 homebred shearlings this year.
​
Northies are renowned for being hardy and thriving in the harshest of conditions and are so far proving to relish in the easier climate of East Anglia.
​
Our ewes hail from some well renowned flocks, including Brefi, Penybont, Muddy Plox & Glan Ithon.

Boss is the OG, one of our 2 original cheviots tups purchased back in 2021. Dependable, good natured and has always put the goods out. A large part of our retained ewes are sired by him.

Dutch Texel Heff joined us in 2025 from around 3 miles up the road! He serves any pedigree ewes who don't quite produce what were looking for, and a small quantity of Pedigree Dutch Texel ewes and cross bred ewes we keep.

Floyd came to us in the summer of 2025 as part of the dispersal sale of the WJ flock. Sharp and flashy, he went to work with enough enthusiasm to serve the entire flock!
The Stour Mill flock has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and we are please to be producing both males and females that we are proud to put our name to.
In 2025, we kept 32 lambs to go on for breeding, with the aim of a handful of pedigree sales, and some to be retained for the flock.
Our first rams left us to start their breeding careers, including Stour Mill Full Monty (Pedigree Cheviot), Piglet (Purebred Dutch Texel), Chunk and Moneymaker (both Cross Breds). Blue tongue restrictions stopped us selling at pedigree sales, so it was lovely to see the boys go on to local homes.
